Datalinking is a complementary service to school photography that links your photographs to your MIS and student data. Datalinking is by no means compulsory. If you don’t want datalinking, we don’t require any action or information from you.
Should you want datalinking, you need to request the service prior to your photography day. Please also be aware that it requires assistance from someone within your school with knowledge of your school MIS and student data.
Datalinking now uses our specially designed secure portal which makes the process simple and hassle-free, whilst being completely GDPR compliant.
Working collaboratively with you, we supply a CD of your school’s images, that you easily upload to your school’s MIS. Datalinking does require the school’s cooperation, but is a fully complementary service, and we have a dedicated datalinking team to provide you with full support through the process.
Please ensure you print off the barcodes on a laser jet printer on single-sided paper
Tempest will provide you with a Portal link and login details. If you have not received an invite to access our secure portal please contact datalinking@htempest.co.uk

Please note, the first few weeks of a new term is our busiest period for supporting schools with datalinking, therefore, our advice is to follow our instructions and proceed with barcode creation, as soon as your intake has been enrolled. Otherwise, we can’t guarantee your student images for your MIS system will successfully bulk load into your system.

1. SURNAME
2. FORENAME
3. CLASS/REG GROUP
4. YEAR GROUP
5. ADMISSION/ROLL NUMBER
